I have a solid portfolio of documentaries I have produced for different studios and clients. But I have a stack of ideas brewing of original documentaries I want to produce myself – I just need to unlock it through finding the right funding and platforms to publish them on!

I've always wanted to be part of a creative community that is SWANA focused and founded. Places like Soho House and the Ned were interesting but never aligned with my values and community compass. I would like to join fellow creatives that are working in Arabic, in English, in Pashto and Persian. The ones who believe there are endless stories and wealth of knowledge in the region. To the community, I would bring a listening ear, a warm heart and an overwhelming amount of curiosity. And eventually host events and gatherings with the community.

I listen and produce audio documentaries and podcasts so that means I'm always with headphones listening to great music, interesting ambient sounds, audio diaries, podcast shows, etc. I also spend my free time cycling: I love being mobile and the freedom of being on a bike. I also love love love hosting: I'm always hosting events, friends over for dinner, presentations, and visitors from out-of-town.
