As a young performing artist based in Abu Dhabi, the two biggest barriers I face are financial and access to venues. While my main interest is to make work, laws here require one to go through a licensing process for every performance, which can be very costly and exhausting. There is also the cultural issue of underappreciation of theater as an art form, but this slowly fades away over time as more people gain exposure to it.

I am interested in getting to know more people from diverse backgrounds and finding out how my background can be of service to others. The type of training that comes from performance is not only useful for art making, but it is also useful for day-to-day conversations and public speaking. I want to find out how these integrate together.

While my primary background is in performance, I also like to work with technology. I currently spend much of my free time learning how to code and how to then apply this knowledge to creative endeavors.
