What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
I feel like I have two careers: my corporate job and my creative ambitions. Professionally, I am looking to connect with more creatives where I live, particularly connecting more with artists and content creators. As a creator I would love to be part of a creator community to get inspired, float my ideas and get tips. I also would love to practice my hand at writing and would like to be more exposed to writers.
Why would you want to join 1833/١٨٣٣?
I moved to the UAE in 2022 from London, and after almost two years here I am craving a creative community. I feel like I meed a bunch of consultants and finance professionals and I don't have a place where I can mingle with likeminded people, or people who are part of the creative field. I want to join 1833 to be able to meet other creatives and be in conversation with them, get inspired and provide any help that I can to them in return
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
I have a passion for stories, and when I am not working I am constantly trying to experience stories through various mediums. I spend a lot of time reading, but also love to write myself. I host a podcast with my best friend, and we have amazing women come on and share their stories. I am also a pop culture obsessive. I spend my time watching movies and television. I am currently developing a new podcast idea. Working title is High Brow / Low Brow - in which we react and commentate on all pop culture has to offer (the masterpieces and the trash - nothing in between). Finally, I love to travel and am on o a plane whenever I can.
