As a founding member of a corporate VC firm, with previous management experience in strategy and marketing roles, Im excited to grow and make an impact, and expanding my network is keys as connecting with diverse founders and investors will spark new ideas and create new opportunities. Long term I hope to support the region's entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem, and I believe broadening my horizons now will help me contribute meaningfully in the future.

I feel like my creative interests are constantly evolving and expanding, but mainly, making art has always been a huge passion of mine. There's something so satisfying about getting lost in the creative process, experimenting with different mediums and seeing what emerges. Lately, I've been really into Arabic calligraphy and typography. I can spend hours playing around with Arabic fonts and lettering, trying out different designs - both physically and digitally - and seeing what I can come up with. I’m also fascinated by the different cultural styles of different Arab regions, Arabic poetry, Arabic idioms, and Arabic classical music, which end up showing up my artwork. When I'm not making art myself, I love looking for unique vintage finds and art pieces to add to my collection. It’s so exciting discovering an object that has its own story and history, and I love imagining the journey it's been on and how I can give it a new life in my space. Curating my collection has become a creative outlet that I also enjoy sharing with people. My job as a venture capitalist at a media company also feeds my creative interests in a big way as we invest in creative and tech startups — I'm fascinated by the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship and technology. Some of my most fulfilling and energizing experiences have come from collaborating with other creatives and innovators, bouncing ideas around and dreaming up new possibilities, especially as our region is embracing tech, art, and entrepreneurship in a big way lately - super exciting to be part of the field, at this moment in time.
