Look, I just started in this role, and it’s pretty different from what I used to do. I like to think of myself as an economist/finance kind of person, but now I’m working in strategic communication which is all about networking, sharing ideas, being creative, and going with the flow.

I’ve been seeing the get togethers that 1833 has been hosting, and honestly, the caliber of people joining those talks is exactly what I need. It’s a great way to practice my communication skills, stay in touch with what’s happening around me, and build genuine, solid connections and hopefully be helpful to others too. Honestly, it feels like a safe space to be yourself, no judgment, just genuine connections.

I thrive on good, deep, and sometimes even philosophical conversations, the kind about things I don’t fully understand but that spark my curiosity. Whether it’s politics, religion, social issues, or even some mythical creature with great power, I’m all in. I love executing visions and challenging myself along the way. I’ll admit, I procrastinate (oh god, I really do!), but in the end, I always get it done and that fulfilling feeling afterwards makes it worth it. Relaxing for me usually means doing something just for myself. I enjoy solo trips (Dubai/Abu Dhabi—still a 30 y/o Emirati girlie who can’t travel alone LOL), morning tennis sessions, or evening horse riding. And sometimes, it’s just some quiet time in front of a screen watching something I enjoy.
