What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
As mentioned, I have worked in fashion for almost 10 years. Those 10 years I have also created tableware brand back home in Bangkok and did multiple branding things. I'm now working as hospitality consultant with my forte in creating design direction, branding, story and placing my creativity in every aspect I can.
I'm a firm believer in exposure to the thoughts and the things I see. I believe there are much more creative people out there, especially here in Dubai. I am creative and I have ideas because I have travelled, my eyes and all my sensess travel. Thus, I think gaining exposure and getting to see creative part would be something that keep me progressing.
Why would you want to join 1833/١٨٣٣?
I have followed your instagram for quite a while and just realized I could actually apply. I like the fact that it's all about arts and culture and you touch on the aspect that is loacl and unique to each place everywhere you go and I would love to be part of it and gain the exposure.
On the other hand, I also come from Bangkok, a city I considered very diverse in creativity, and that I could bring those creativity and share it with the club (or even a trip to Bangkok together). I'm part of the creative community there. On top of that, I put importance in doing things with purposes and I feel that there are more things that I can contribute to the club and other members in various aspect. I practice mindfulness and I value kindness. I hope with that we could make society at at large an even more beautiful one, starting with a small community. :)
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
I am very into fashion as I have worked in the industry for almost 10 years. I switched to hospitality because I find my propose in spreading kindness and I think it is the best industry to do so. Even when I'm in hospitality consultant job, my interest still lies in creating beautiful things and meaningful concepts. I love to go visit museums, art galleries, and very local shops to get the sense of place and culture and find the beauty in it. I read lots og magazine especially those that shows local fashion and art scene. my favourite middle eastern publication is Brownbook.
