We’re launching a new program that puts regional artists at the center, monthly studio visits, real conversations, and work experienced in the spaces it was created for.

We start this January with a day trip to Al Ain: a traditional lunch, followed by a screening in Qattara Oasis. The short film by Roudhah Al Mazrouei, Klaithem Aljabri, and Alawash pulls you into the world of snaah, the red paste made from saffron, mahlep, and rosewater that shaped generations of girlhood and beauty rituals. Honest, textured, and rooted in the women who kept these traditions alive. Culture as it’s lived, not staged.
