On our 1833 ten-day escape to Japan, you’ll immerse yourself in the deep history and vibrant culture that defines everyday life. Over these ten days, you’ll experience the best of Japan, from its iconic festivals to the perfect blend of ancient traditions and modern innovations. You’ll dine like a local, exploring authentic Japanese cuisine, wander through historic temples, explore serene gardens, and engage with captivating art. This trip showcases Japan as the ideal destination for a longer escape—where you can connect with the culture, feel at home, and truly belong. And with Japan being just a short flight from Dubai or other major regional cities, it’s the perfect getaway to refresh and recharge.

Below is a tentative itinerary and will be amended once we have confirmed members.

Day 1: Tokyo

(Arrival & Explore Shibuya)

  • Morning/Afternoon: Arrive in Tokyo and dive into the bustling Shibuya district. Begin with the famous Shibuya Crossing, and visit the Hachiko statue.
  • Evening: Explore nearby streets filled with fashion boutiques, concept stores, and art galleries. End the evening with a casual dinner at a trendy restaurant in the area.
Day 2: Tokyo

(Art & Culture Immersion)

  • Morning: Start the day with a visit to the Nezu Museum in Aoyama, renowned for its stunning Japanese art collection and exquisite garden.
  • Midday: Head to the Yayoi Kusama Museum for an immersive experience in the world of this avant-garde artist.
  • Afternoon: Explore the Omotesando district, known for its cutting-edge fashion boutiques and architecturally unique buildings.
  • Evening: Dine at a traditional Japanese izakaya in the Shinjuku area and take a stroll through Golden Gai for an atmospheric taste of Tokyo nightlife.
Day 3: Tokyo

(Contemporary Art & Modern Tokyo)

  • Morning: Visit the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park for a comprehensive exploration of Japan's artistic heritage.
  • Afternoon: Take a day trip to Kanazawa via Shinkansen to visit the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art. Explore the mix of traditional and modern art installations.
  • Evening: Return to Tokyo and have a quiet evening at a sophisticated lounge or bar in Roppongi Hills, overlooking the cityscape.
Day 4: Tokyo to Osaka

(Bullet Train & Osaka’s Art Scene)

  • Morning: Take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka.
  • Afternoon: Head to the Osaka National Museum of Art, known for its collection of modern and contemporary works.

Day 5: Osaka

  • Morning: Visit Osaka Castle and its surrounding gardens to appreciate both historical architecture and serene landscapes.
  • Afternoon: Explore the Umeda Sky Building for its striking modern design and panoramic views. Wander through Umeda’s shopping district, stopping by boutiques that showcase Japanese design.
  • Evening: Dine in one of Osaka’s Michelin-starred restaurants to experience a fusion of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine.
Day 6: Osaka to Kyoto

(Journey to Traditional Japan)

  • Morning: Travel to Kyoto and head straight to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Take a private boat ride down the Katsura River for a peaceful immersion in nature.

Day 9: Kyoto to Tokyo

(Back to the Capital)

  • Morning: Take the Shinkansen back to Tokyo.
  • Afternoon: Visit the Meiji Shrine for a quiet, reflective experience amid Tokyo's bustling cityscape. Spend some time in the Omotesando area, revisiting its high-end fashion and unique architectural designs.
  • Evening: Enjoy a contemporary art exhibit at Mori Art Museum in Roppongi Hills and then have dinner at a rooftop restaurant with views of Tokyo Tower.
Day 10: Tokyo

(The Final Day)

  • Morning: Spend your last day exploring Harajuku and Omotesando for fashion, design, and unique souvenirs.
