Food Studies: Joe Moukarzel - Tiramisu

Joe Moukarzel is a Dubai-based founder and the mind behind Lissimo, an F&B concept and creative studio exploring food, people, and places. With a love for Italian-inspired cooking and a natural instinct for bringing people together, Joe creates everything from supper clubs and pop-ups to private dinners and intimate food experiences.

Through Lissimo, he develops concepts, shapes spaces, and brings ideas to life, often collaborating with brands and people to create experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and unexpected. What began with a love for cooking has grown into a way of creating, hosting, and constantly experimenting with what comes next. He’s happiest somewhere between the kitchen, the table, and the next idea.

For this hands-on workshop, Joe will take participants through the process of making a foolproof, really good tiramisu from scratch. He’ll share his recipe and walk the group through the techniques that make all the difference, from hand-whipping the mascarpone mixture to achieve the right texture, to properly pasteurizing the egg yolks.

The aim is simple: to leave with a reliable recipe, a few useful techniques, and the confidence to make a great tiramisu at home.
