A conversation around “Same Air”, a group exhibition bringing together fourteen artists of and connected to the Gulf whose works emerged in direct response to a shared moment of disruption.

Over the last month, the artists returned to their studios without a prescribed theme or formal directive. What emerged are works that feel unfinished, unresolved, and in motion connected not by style, but by the conditions of their making.

The same place.
The same moment.
The same air.

Hosted at Tabari Artspace, the evening explores how artists absorb, process, and respond to collective moments through their practice, and what contemporary artistic expression in the region looks like when instinct takes precedence over instruction.
